I have gone through all of my assignments and have chosen the ones I believe will work best for my final portfolio. First, I chose to put my profile assignment in where I tell about Harvey Milk’s life.  Next, I decided to add the proposal assignment, in which I talk about the growing problem of plastic our environment is faced with today.  I then thought my evaluation piece on Accutane should be added to the portfolio.  Last, I added my group collaborative assignment.  

        I hope as you read through these assignments that you will be able to tell the amount of work and effort I have put into them during the last month or so.  You have given me great, personalized advice.  I have taken it and have really tried to make them my own, as well as giving credit to all of the sources I have used.   That has been one of the hardest things for me is citing and documenting my sources.  I honestly just had no idea how to even do it.  I hope that through reading all of the information and links you have sent to me on this matter, that I have done a good job pertaining it into my work, in all of my final portfolio pieces.  

       For the collaborative assignment I have chosen for this portfolio, I will list the roles Janelle and I decided to take.  We both helped with the writing of the main piece, which is what I am adding to this final.  I would work on it, then sending it to her to add some to it, and revise it.  We did this several times, sending it back and forth to each other, to get it just how we wanted. She did the final revisions on the piece and I added it to the webpage.  We decided everything we did through the class email.  

         I feel like I have come a long way throughout the semester.  I know I still have very much to learn, but this class has given me a great understanding of persuasive writing skills.  You have been a great teacher. Thanks you for always being so prompt in emailing me back.  It has made for an easy ride.  Thank you again.
